A beach resort in Majahual assembled from prefabricated modules and lived at the laid-back pace of La Libertad.
Grupo Amate, a Modulare partner, wanted a short-term rental destination, Airbnb style, steps from one of the most visited beaches on the Salvadoran coast. The challenge was to create something innovative without losing the essence of the beach: the sand, the palm trees, the Pacific sunset and the casual surf vibe visitors look for in La Libertad.
The lodging units, white volumes with large windows, are arranged around the pool and garden so every guest has privacy without missing the shared life of the resort. Lit stone paths, umbrellas and loungers complete an atmosphere made for sunsets and beach nights, and a cobblestone entrance handles parking without breaking up the garden. Modulare's scope was the architectural design of the resort, already delivered to the client.
